1. What inspired you to found Wellness Cultz as a movement for holistic wellbeing rather than just a product brand?
Wellness Cultz is inspired by my own experience as the Founder, being intolerant to several foods and facing various health challenges, and overcoming them through my own solutions and recipes. This journey gave birth to the idea of introducing inclusive food solutions for everyone with dietary restrictions. I believe that extreme diets are not a sustainable solution to support other wellness dimensions such as physical energy, mental health, and emotional wellbeing. This belief led me to experiment with my own recipes and formulas with the support of my life partner.
Wellness Cultz offers a range of healthy food solutions that enable those with dietary restrictions to live a sustainable lifestyle without taking away the joy of enjoying what they eat. The brand is the result of an eighteen month journey prior to its official launch, during which we developed different gluten free natural flour and flour based products tailored to people with various food allergies. We offer delicious, affordable, and safe to eat foods not only for those with restricted dietary needs, but also for anyone seeking a better lifestyle.

2. Gluten free certification and safety standards are central to your identity. Why is credibility so important in the wellness industry today?
Credibility encourages new customers to connect with the brand and helps build long term loyalty. When it comes to food, credibility creates confidence in the customer’s mindset that the end product reaches them safely and without harm. This creates peace of mind and trust. Therefore, maintaining strong credibility and reliable safety standards is highly important in the wellness industry.
3. How do you balance inclusivity, taste, and international quality standards while scaling a wellness focused business?
Our space is unique, as we focus on 360 degree wellness. We began with physical wellness, with a sub focus on food wellness. We recognised how many people have been excluded from consuming certain foods due to intolerances and health concerns, which often results in frustration and limits their ability to live a regular lifestyle.
Our effort is to make similar food variations available so that they can feel equal and included while enjoying the same taste. We place strong emphasis on research and development across the entire process, from basic production to the final kitchen ready product. This ensures international quality standards throughout our wellness food journey.
4. Wellness goes beyond physical health. How does Wellness Cultz address emotional resilience and mindful living?
Crafting inclusivity for everyone’s wellness is our main objective. We focus on every dimension of wellbeing and strive to provide equal access and opportunities through our products, services, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Our current model of building an inclusive wellness culture is centred on food habits, nutritional value, accessibility, and inclusivity, strengthening physical wellness at this stage. We provide gluten free flour, flour blends, ready to eat products, and low sugar and low calorie options to support inclusive food consumption. We also customise gluten free flour blends based on individual preferences to support personal wellbeing and lifestyle needs.
5. Looking ahead, how do you envision Wellness Cultz shaping healthier lifestyles in Sri Lanka and beyond?
Our focus remains on 360 degree wellness through holistic and inclusive solutions. We aim to provide affordable options by using local resources and enhancing education through knowledge sharing models to support healthier lifestyles.
We seek to create a positive mindset that moves away from the traditional belief that a healthy lifestyle is boring, dull, challenging, or difficult. Our aspiration is to become the most preferred and enjoyable healthy lifestyle support partner in the minds of customers in Sri Lanka and beyond, while taking Sri Lanka’s unique footprint to the world.
