METHOD

Whisk, Pour, Bake

0 of 7 steps
1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Prepare a 12-cup muffin tray with cupcake liners or grease a loaf pan if making banana bread.
(10 min)
2

Prepare the Dry Mix

Sieve the Wellness Cultz Gluten-Free Banana Cake Mix into a large mixing bowl to remove any lumps and create a smooth, even texture.
(3 mins)
3

Mix the Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, eggs, vanilla, honey or Kithul treacle, and mashed banana if using. Mix until smooth and well combined.
(5 mins)
4

Combine the Batter

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mix and whisk until fully combined. Ensure the batter is smooth with no visible lumps.
(3 mins)
5

Fill the Tray

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin liners. If making a loaf, pour the batter into a lined loaf pan and spread it evenly.
(3 mins)
6

Bake

Gently tap the tray to remove trapped air bubbles. Bake muffins for 15–20 minutes or bake the loaf for 40–50 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
15–20 min (Muffins) / 40–50 min (Bread)
7

Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven and allow the muffins or loaf to cool for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Cool completely before serving or slicing.
(10 min)
SPECIAL NOTE

Fresh bananas are optional because the cake mix already contains banana flour. If the batter is too thick, add about 2 tablespoons of milk to adjust the consistency. Always perform the toothpick test before removing from the oven, as baking times may vary depending on your oven.
