1

Preheat the Waffle Maker

Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions. Lightly grease the plates with butter or oil if required to prevent sticking.

2

Prepare the Flour Blend

Sieve the Wellnesscultz Gluten-Free Flour Blend into a large mixing bowl to remove any lumps or clumps. This helps create a smoother batter and lighter waffles.
2 minutes
3

Mix the Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together: Melted butter Egg Vanilla extract Milk Mix until the ingredients are fully combined and smooth. Tip: Ensure the melted butter has cooled slightly before adding it to the egg mixture.
2 minutes
4

Make the Batter

Pour the wet mixture into the flour blend. Whisk gently until the batter becomes smooth and free of lumps. The consistency should be thick but still pourable. If the batter appears too thick, gradually add a little extra milk until you achieve the desired consistency.

Cook the Waffles

Lightly grease the waffle maker if necessary. Pour enough batter into the centre of the waffle maker according to its size. Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and cooked through. Avoid opening the waffle maker too early, as this may cause the waffles to tear.

6

Cool Slightly

Once the waffles are cooked, carefully transfer them to a wire rack and let them rest for a minute. This allows excess steam to escape, helping the waffles maintain their crisp exterior instead of becoming soft.

Serve and Enjoy

Serve the waffles immediately while still warm with your favourite toppings such as fresh fruits, maple syrup, honey, kithul treacle, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, yogurt, or nut butter.

SPECIAL NOTE

Waffle makers vary, so adjust the cooking time as needed until the waffles are golden and crisp. If the batter becomes too thick, add a little milk to loosen it before cooking.
