Gluten-Free Bread
Servings – 8
Prep Time – 20 Minutes Approx
Wait Time – 45 Minutes Approx
Bake Time – 45 Minutes Approx
Ingredients
- 1.5 Cups of Warm Water You may need about a ¼ cup later based on the dough thickness
- 11g dry yeast – Must Measure
- 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup / treacle / honey
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar / Coconut Sugar or any form your choice
- 3 Tbsp Oil (Any)
- 1 Tsp salt
- 2 Egg Whites
- 2.5 Cups Wellness Cultz GF All Purpose Flour (Must Measure)
Method
- Add Warm Water (as pet the yeast pack or at around 40% or hand hot) together with yeast and sugar and give it stir. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, add syrup, oil and salt and mix.
- Add Flour and blend (using the stand mixer or hand mixer is better, but you can do by hands for a little longer time) and mix for about 2 minutes.
- Add Egg Whites and mix for another 2 minutes.
**At this stage check the dough and if it looks hard add little water and mix. The dough should be in loose form than a pizza dough. - Scoop the dough to a pre-prepared loaf pan and let sit for 35 to 45 minutes till it doubles. Keep an eye and don’t let over proof.
- You need to put the over pre-heat 10 minutes before and place the pan in the center rack and bake for 35 to 45 minutes (You know your oven better. The baking time could be lesser or longer than 45 minutes)/
Note – Keep a water bowl inside the over during the entire baking time to add little moisture and avoid edges getting over bakes before the inside of the bread.
Inside bread temperate – 95 – 99 Celsius
Toop pick test – Clean or slightly with crumps but not we - Take the tray out from the oven, leave for about 5 minutes as it is on a wire rack and take the bread out from the tray and let cool completely (very important) on a wire rack before cutting.
- Slice and enjoy! – Thin slices are better as the bread is heavy.
*A little roasting on slices will add a tasty crunch to the bread.
